FleetMentor, an online toolbox and fleet management adviser by transportation industry provider J.J. Keller & Associates, will begin offering free live, monthly webcasts for transportation professionals. The webcasts will be presented by J.J. Keller’s editorial staff, which consists of more than 30 subject matter experts in the transportation, regulatory and compliance fields.

FleetMentor will host its first webcast, “Roadside Inspections: An overview of the processes and consequences of roadside inspections,” on Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. CT. The company says the webcast will provide participants with a general understanding of the processes involved in roadside inspections, both by the agencies involved and the carrier; it also will provide participants with knowledge and best practices on improving the outcome of future roadside inspections and using the data provided by roadside inspections productively.

Upcoming topics for FleetMentor webcasts include hours of service, driver qualification, accident reporting and investigation, claims management, Department of Transportation recordkeeping requirements and DOT audits. To participate in the webcasts, transportation professionals who are not FleetMentor subscribers can register for a 30-day free no-obligation trial by visiting www.fleetmentor.com. Registration for each webcast will open 30 days prior to the event.
