Bergstrom, a global provider in the design and supply of climate systems to the commercial vehicle industry, has named Bill Gordon national director of aftermarket and director of global marketing.

As the national director of aftermarket, Gordon will be responsible for realigning and re-energizing Bergstrom’s aftermarket sales of parts and complete HVAC systems. As part of this role, Gordon also will update the Kysor and NITE (No-Idle Thermal Environment) programs to fulfill market-based improvements. Bergstrom’s Kysor division provides HVAC replacement parts for the commercial vehicle industry.

In addition, Gordon will be responsible for leading all of Bergstrom’s marketing and communications efforts worldwide as the director of global marketing.

“Bergstrom acknowledges the importance of the coordination, strengthening and seamless integration of our global brand,” says Jack Schaffer, president and chief operating officer of the Rockford, Ill.-based company. “We recognize the huge opportunities that are in the global marketplace, and I am confident that Bill and his team will continue to exceed customer expectations.”

A 30-year industry veteran, Gordon has been heading up international sales for Bergstrom’s NITE system, directing overall marketing and branding efforts for the company, and overseeing continuous improvements in customer service since November 2007. He previously was with Sears Manufacturing, where he was director of sales.
