Mahle Clevite Inc. says it has enhanced its Heavy Duty Engine Kit program with two improvements based on customer requests.
Mahle Clevite provides a large range of engine kits, which historically have been referenced by manufacturer, engine model or tractor model. Users now can search by part number by keying in the number for a specific component — such as a sleeve assembly, bearing or gasket — and the results will show all the available kits that include that specific part number.
The program also now allows users to select optional head gasket oversizes for engines where multiple choices are available; in the past, this option only was available for products such as bearings, sleeves and rebores kits, and only the standard head gasket was available in the kit content. The Ann Arbor, Mich.-based company says the new capability allows customers to view a wider selection of alternative parts, resulting in an engine kit tailored to their specific needs.
