Penske Truck Leasing — a provider of full-service truck leasing and contract maintenance services — has announced the opening of its new 6,000-square-foot facility in Faribault, Minn., located on 3105 Industrial Drive.
Housed on two acres, the one-story building maintains nearly 65 vehicles onsite. It also features two service bays and a wash bay. A wireless technology component allows Penske service technicians to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software.
“There are a number of reasons why Penske decided to open a facility in the Faribault and Owatonna area,” says Paul Prang, North Central Region senior vice president for Penske Truck Leasing, based in Reading, Pa. “A key customer expanded their operations into this area. Also, with its close proximity to the Twin Cities and I-35 corridor, we are seeing new distribution center construction, bringing with it new opportunities.”
