Nuijens appointed director of dealer development for Thermo King

Matt Nuijens has been named director of dealer development for Thermo King Corp., responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of “best practice” programs and activities designed to further strengthen the company’s dealer network and enhance customer service. Nuijens will provide leadership in implementing these programs through internal advisory groups and the Thermo King sales and marketing organizations.

Nuijens joined Ingersoll Rand in 2006 as a business manager with the industrial technologies sector. Prior to Ingersoll Rand, Nuijens held roles of increasing responsibility within the sales and marketing organizations of Goodrich/Garlock sealing technologies, Danaher Tool Group and, immediately prior to Ingersoll Rand, Newell Rubbermaid.

Thermo King, a Minneapolis-based business unit of diversified industrial firm Ingersoll-Rand, manufactures transport temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications, including trailers, truck bodies, buses, shipboard containers and railway cars. The company operates 10 manufacturing facilities and 17 parts distribution centers worldwide. Sales and service is provided by a global dealer network of 865 independently owned companies in 75 countries.
