Penske Truck Leasing recently hosted the grand opening of a new location in New Stanton, Pa., at 209 East View Drive. Penske offers commercial and consumer truck rental services, full-service truck leasing and contract maintenance at the 7,000-square-foot facility. Sitting on nearly 12 acres, the facility serves nearly 60 customers and maintains more than 335 vehicles, while employing 13 associates.
The one-story building houses two service bays, a truck-washing bay and a single-lane fuel island. The company says that energy-saving GE fluorescent light bulbs with electronic ballasts has been installed, and that a new wireless technology component also allows Penske service technicians to utilize cutting-edge diagnostic and repair software.
Penske previously operated a facility at 1678 Ruffsdale Road in Hunker. “We’re very pleased to move into this modern New Stanton facility, having outgrown our previous location,” says Terry Scott, senior vice president of the South Central Region for Penske Truck Leasing, based in Reading, Pa. “We’re looking to keep pace with the growth of industrial parks in Westmoreland County, and to capitalize on our location near a major Pennsylvania Turnpike interchange.”
