Transport America recently recognized its September 2008 Drivers of the Month for their outstanding service to the company and its customers. Professional company drivers honored for September were John Miller, Andrew Huntamer, Lou Evans and Gary Snow. Professional contractors selected for September were Warren Hodges and Ken Wills.
“We are extremely proud of each of these drivers, not simply because this is a great achievement individually, but because they also represent the Transport America driving team — true professionals that value safety and provide industry-leading customer service every day,” says Scott Hunt, vice president of operations.
Fleet managers nominate drivers monthly for the honor. The drivers’ on-time customer service, safety and working percentage all are considered for selection. The drivers will be presented their awards in a formal presentation at Transport America headquarters in Eagan, Minn.
