Kenworth announced Thursday, Nov. 13, that it will incorporate new cab and sleeper interior appointments for its Class 8 models starting next month. The Kirkland, Wash.-based truck maker also has added fuel tank options for its T170 Class 5 model.
The new Marathon seat insert material becomes standard for Kenworth’s Air-Cushion Plus, Air-Cushion Premium Plus and Steel Tool Box Plus proprietary seats, and for sofa beds in Kenworth’s 86-inch AeroCab and 72-inch AeroCab AeroDyne sleepers. The company says the new seat material provides a fresh look for the driver and rider seats and Kenworth sofa bed, and retains the same stain-resistant treatment of the previous seat material.
