Networkfleet, a provider of wireless fleet management, announced that it won the 2008 AeA High Tech Award in the category of communications products and services from the San Diego Council of AeA. Networkfleet says it was chosen for its 3500 product line, a wireless fleet management system designed to remotely monitor the performance and location of fleet vehicles. Networkfleet says its proprietary system reads real-time diagnostics from the vehicle’s engine, giving fleet managers the ability to continuously monitor fuel consumption, speed and emissions status for all of their vehicles.

“Networkfleet has been growing rapidly due to our distinct ability to help fleets reduce fuel costs, lower emissions and improve operating efficiency,” says Keith Schneider, president of Networkfleet. “This award reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team. Our continuing innovation stems from our resourceful team’s ability to exceed expectations while responding to customer and market needs in this dynamic environment.”

This year marked the 15th anniversary of the San Diego High Tech Awards. “This year’s AeA High Tech Awards were a huge success, and we are thrilled with the companies selected as award winners in their categories,” says Kevin Carroll, executive director of AeA, the nation’s largest high-tech trade association. “Those selected are a true reflection of the high level of innovative, influential companies in the San Diego region.”
