GE Capital Solutions Fleet Services’ general manager of its telematics solutions program, Stephen Ulanoski, addressed improving customer relationship management (CRM) systems through real-time business intelligence at the seventh annual Logistics & Fleet Management Systems USA Conference, held Oct. 23-24 in Atlanta.

The Logistics & Fleet Management Systems conference is the number-one conference on seamless logistics networks for the U.S. fleet logistics systems industry. Conference topics included expert analysis from logistics industry forerunners on integration, routing, supply chain visibility, cargo security and management.

Ulanoski shared with conference attendees how Eden Prairie, Minn.-based GE’s integrated telematics solution helps its customers leverage real-time information – from monitoring vehicle assets to scheduling and route optimization – to reduce driver overtime, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Ulanoski illustrated how fleet management is transformed through more powerful analytics by integrating telematics data with traditional fleet data. The ultimate result for fleet and logistics managers is greater visibility and management of their vehicle and people assets, and for the operational leaders an ability to better manage their overall operating costs while increasing capacity within their businesses.

“Today companies need the capacity to increase deliveries and fulfill orders, and the freedom from managing the cost elements to create that capacity,” Ulanoski said. “GE’s telematics solution uses optimization technologies that align resources for our customers to do more with fewer vehicles while improving their customer’s satisfaction and loyalty. Establishing a consulting relationship with your customers, understanding their business needs and applying custom Six Sigma analytics approaches to telematics and mobile resource management data drives a new level of business understanding, which is a win every time for our customers.”

The Logistics & Fleet Management Systems conference attendees include chief executive officers and senior strategy and technical directors from across the United States and Canada involved with fleet management systems, telematics service providers, logistics solution providers, commercial vehicle OEMs and more.
