ISE Corp. was selected as winner of the Clean Technology award at the AeA’s 15th annual High Tech Awards by the San Diego chapter of the AeA, the nation’s largest high-tech industry association. AeA recognized local technology companies for their achievements in technological innovation, civic contributions and industry accomplishments.

This year marked the 15th anniversary of the San Diego High Tech Awards. More than 500 technology executives, including AeA members and nonmembers, came together to recognize the successes of local technology companies from a diverse set of categories, which included many first-time nominees, demonstrating the growth and strength of the technology cluster in San Diego.

ISE is a designer, developer and manufacturer of hybrid-electric drive systems and components for heavy-duty vehicles. In addition, ISE is a provider of energy storage systems and fuel cell-control technologies for heavy-duty vehicles, and the preferred distributor and system integrator of Siemens ELFA electric and hybrid-electric drive components for the U.S. transit bus market. To date, ISE has delivered more than 200 hybrid-electric drive systems that have accumulated more than 9 million miles.

“This year’s AeA High Tech Awards were a huge success, and we are thrilled with the companies selected as award winners in their categories,” says Kevin Carroll, AeA executive director. “Those selected are a true reflection of the high level of innovative, influential companies in the San Diego region.”
