Penske Truck Leasing hosted the opening of its newest facility, a state-of-the-art structure in Greenville, S.C. Offering full-service truck leasing, contract maintenance and commercial and consumer truck rental services, the nearly 18,000-square-foot facility is housed on 12.4 acres.
Featuring Penske’s new facility design elements, it houses three service bays, an automated wash bay and a three-lane high-speed fuel island, all designed to enhance the customer experience, while wireless technology at the facility enables service technicians to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software.
“After nearly 25 years, the time had arrived for a new Greenville facility,” says John Crockett, Southeast Region senior vice president for Penske Truck Leasing, based in Reading, Pa. “We simply outgrew our previous location. Being located in the Upstate of South Carolina’s transportation hub, it was important to make a continued long-term investment to our customers. Penske is confident that an expected increase in business will result in the hiring of additional associates in 2009.”
The rental department is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon. The service department operates Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to midnight, and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information, call 864-295-2870.
