Snap-on says that for any purchase of its /-inch Fractional General Service Set (125TPB) in the first quarter of 2009, the company also will provide two complementary /-inch ratchets.

“These are great time-saving tools that will help perform more jobs during the course of a day,” says Scott Amundson, product manager for Kenosha, Wis.-based Snap-on. “In addition, this is a fantastic opportunity for those who have Snap-on’s metric sockets to build upon their socket set.”

The /-inch Fractional General Service Set features 25 pieces and comes in a plastic box. The long-handle comfort-grip ratchet (THL72) and the long-handle flex-head comfort-grip ratchet (THLF72) both are manufactured with the company’s Dual 80 Technology, which Snap-on says provides fine-tooth gear with 80 teeth on a compact head for a smaller ratcheting arc.
