Appeals court: Swifty didn’t violate ADA

Swifty Transportation did not violate the Americans with Disabilities Act in its management of a driver who had a prosthetic leg, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit ruled.

The appeals court upheld a lower court ruling, which also had dismissed claims that Swifty violated the Family and Medical Leave Act. (Gerald Lloyd vs. Swifty Transportation; Case No. 07-1476)
