TransCore announced Friday, Feb. 20, that after extensive testing, its document management system for the trucking industry now can be used in a wider variety of hardware configurations and operating environments, providing increased flexibility and reduced start-up costs.

In the past, digital imaging typically was limited to larger organizations with access to high-end technology investments and servers, so this now allows freight brokers of any size to fully automate their document management, streamline processes and improve efficiency and accuracy, saving them time, resources and money, according to the company.

TransCore says its document management and imaging system offers a wide array of features and capabilities that can be customized to meet the specific needs of freight brokers, including fast, easy scan and retrieval; flexible configurations; rendition billing; online document access via a sophisticated Web interface; and intelligent integration into TransCore’s Logistics Suite broker transportation management system.
