Smart Lines upgrades to TransCore Logistics Suite

TransCore announced today, March 5, that Smart Lines, a nationally certified freight broker, has upgraded to its Logistics Suite transportation management system (TMS) for freight brokers, with a goal to improve productivity by more than 20 loads a week.

“We chose TransCore because they came highly recommended and because the software was designed specifically for brokers,” says Greg Roush, president and owner of Oklahoma City-based Smart Lines. “Our experience has been so positive that migrating from TransCore’s UNIX-based TMS to Logistics Suite was a really easy decision.”

TransCore says Logistics Suite is a transportation management system that addresses both the operational and accounting needs of transportation brokers and 3PLs; features include order entry, dispatch, tracking, receivables, settlements, EDI, document management, load matching, carrier monitoring and more.

In addition to Logistics Suite, Smart Lines says it also uses 3sixty Freight Match and TransCore Imaging, a document management system for the trucking industry; both products are integrated intelligently directly into Logistics Suite for maximum productivity and control.

“TransCore’s customer service is second to none, all of our data was ported over, and most importantly, we know that the speed of Logistics Suite will significantly impact our productivity,” Roush says. “We can easily see 20 employees each covering one more load a week.”
