Prophesy Transportation Solutions has announced the launch of a free online version of its commercial mileage software at its website, www.mile.com. The company says access to the new Prophesy webMiler Free is unrestricted and without charge for all users.
“Our team made the decision to create a free version of our webMiler application both in response to visitor demand and to help ease stress on smaller over-the-road trucking companies who may not have a full commercial mileage and routing solution during these challenging times,” says William Ashburn, vice president of Bloomfield, Conn.-based Prophesy. “It is our hope that we can help to support these trucking companies, and that as they thrive and grow, they will think of Prophesy and Accellos for their growing software needs.”
The company says new users should note that a unique feature of Prophesy webMiler Free is the ability to calculate mileage summaries by state, a helpful tool in fuel tax reporting. Other features of Prophesy webMiler Free, according to the company, include point-to-point routing, shortest-distance commercial miles and routes, and most practical commercial miles and routes.
