uFollowit, a freight tracking and proof-of-delivery service for the transportation industry, recently announced the successful integration of its services with Aljex Software. The company also announced a partnership with Integrated Communications, the Sprint mobile phone partner of the National Association of Small Trucking Companies, to provide freight tracking services to NASTC members.
uFollowit says it electronically sends freight location and status information to the Aljex software as each event occurs; when this happens, Aljex customers can see the load status, creating comprehensive freight visibility. “With a broad range of customers — including FedEx, Trinity Transport and Dart Advantage — Aljex is a great choice for integration,” says Danny Dever, vice president of sales for Austin, Texas-based uFollowit. “With this new integration, dispatcher and managers can view all of their freight data in one location, increasing productivity.”
Dever says uFollowit’s partnership with Integrated Communications helps NASTC members provide low-cost efficient freight tracking services to their customers. “Using only a mobile phone, small trucking fleets can now compete head-to-head with the large carriers,” he says.
