Navistar announced Tuesday, March 17, that it is launching a new global brand of proprietary components for its vehicle brands. MaxxPower brand components soon will be available on International brand trucks, IC Bus brand school and commercial buses and Workhorse chassis products.

“The launch of our new MaxxPower line of components creates a tremendous opportunity to provide the quality and value our customers are looking for,” says Jack Allen, North American Truck Group president for Warrenville, Ill.-based Navistar. “Delivering fully-integrated products and solutions designed from the outset for our vehicles will help deliver maximum performance and reliability.”

The company says MaxxPower products are engineered and tested to meet the demands of a wide variety of vocations and applications to ensure maximum value for the customer; these products will be designed and engineered by and for Navistar as original equipment and factory-installed.

Fully integrated and designed to work with Navistar truck and bus products, MaxxPower components will be backed by Navistar’s distribution network with replacement parts and warranty through the International, IC Bus and Workhorse dealer networks.
