Since its acquisition of S-line Cargo Control and Safety Products last October, Ancra International has expanded its product line by more than 25 percent, the company announced during a press conference at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky.
Ancra said the acquisition adds more than 100 new part numbers to its 2009 catalog. With its increased buying power, the company introduced a “deeply discounted” commemorative 30-foot winch strap – featuring both companies’ logos.
Ancra also announced it is the first member of the Web, Sling and Tie Down Association to gain accreditation by the Automotive Manufacturers Compliance Agency, which certifies Ancra to test synthetic webbing cargo securement devices to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration 49CFR393.104(e)(3) requirements.
