Getloaded.com announced Thursday, March 19, at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., that it is officially mobile, launching the first mobile site that allows truckers and brokers to match loads and trucks from their Web-enabled cell phones. The company said the site is a critical tool for trucking industry professionals who no longer will need the use of a laptop or conventional desktop computer to access loads and match trucks while on the go.

“Now it doesn’t matter if you’re pumping gas or making a stop to grab a hamburger,” said Bryan Jones, president of Getloaded.com. “The power to find loads for truckers is always available to them, right at their fingertips.”

Getloaded.com said the new tool gives truckers and brokers a new way to search for loads and trucks, and allows users to access their saved searches. While cell phone reception tends to be more pervasive, truckers now have the ease of use to search the site while on the road without having to stop to find a Wi-Fi connection or Internet access, according to the company; this is ideal for brokers who are often on the road meeting with shippers, giving them time to travel while also finding available trucks for their clients.

“The mobile site is representative of our commitment to innovation for the trucking industry,” Jones said. “Getloaded.com strives to offer the best service possible to truckers and brokers looking to find and match loads. By giving truckers the option to search while on the road, they have a better opportunity to always have full loads available and maximize profits for their bottom line.”
