Snap-on has added a new page to its website where professional technicians can go to learn more about EPIQ, its new tool storage unit. The site, www.snapon.com/epiqpower, contains product information and a video that showcases the tool storage unit’s features.

“Our new Snap-on Web page puts the power of EPIQ within reach for our professional technician customers,” says Chris Potter, president of tool storage for Snap-on Tools, based in Kenosha, Wis. “The short video is a great introduction to EPIQ’s many smart features, which will help technicians become better organized, resulting in improved productivity and less wasted time. Once it rolls into their bays, technicians will know what it’s like to have the power to do more, and do it faster.”

EPIQ’s proprietary features, according to Snap-on, include:

  • PowerBank, a lockable vertical drawer bank with built-in power access for recharging tools and batteries, plus plenty of space to organize cordless and air powered tools;
  • PowerTop, a stainless-steel work surface with an integrated power source. The four-sided raised-lip edge keeps items on the work surface;
  • PowerHouse, a lockable area designed for diagnostic platform and laptop use;
  • InPulse drawers that open with a simple motion and feature 10 bends for a flush front and uncompromising strength; and
  • ISO-Ride. The unit’s seven-inch swivel-lock mag wheels have an independent torsion spring suspension, which provides for a superior, smooth ride.
