Stoughton Trailers — a manufacturer of semi-trailer vans, grain trailers, containers, chassis and flatbeds — announced it has made Truck-Lite’s “Life-Time Lighting Solution” its factory-standard lighting and harness system. Truck-Lite says the system offers a limited lifetime parts and labor warranty.

“Truck-Lite worked closely with Stoughton to provide them with a competitive heavy-duty ‘Plug Together’ harness and LED lighting system that fits within their high-quality standards and long-term expectations,” says Bob Bartkowski, Truck-Lite’s trailer OEM manager. “I believe this ‘Life-Time Lighting Solution’ accomplished our goals, and at the same time provided Stoughton Trailers with a driver-friendly system while providing a significant return on investment for their customers.”

Stoughton says that by choosing Truck-Lite, it is addressing all of the major aspects of lighting and proper electrical, from resistance to shock, vibration and moisture to lower current draw and decreased downtime.

“Our goal has always been to produce the highest-quality trailers, giving our customers the reliability they have become accustomed to with our products,” says Brian Prall, Stoughton’s vice president of sales and marketing. “The decision to standardize with Truck-Lite’s ‘Life-Time Lighting Solution’ will strengthen that commitment with their reputation for advanced lighting technology and harnessing systems. Together, we are delivering a trailer that offers our customers the dependability they require.”
