Truck-Lite announced today, May 20, that it has been named as Navistar’s 2008 Diamond Supplier, a prestigious honor given for commitment to quality and performance excellence. Truck-Lite says it was selected as the recipient for its efforts to meet and exceed Navistar’s expectations and requirements.

“The standards for our Diamond Supplier award continue to rise,” says Kaori Scherer, Navistar supply manager. “Companies must not only achieve continually improving traditional measures of product quality, but must be understanding and responsive to customer needs. Truck-Lite has met that criteria, and we are pleased with their ongoing commitment.”

To qualify for Diamond Supplier status, suppliers must meet several performance expectations, such as continual commitment to quality and delivery, customer responsiveness, good business practices and support of Navistar’s corporate strategy.

“We are honored to accept this award and appreciate Navistar’s recognition of our customer commitment,” says Jon Stineman, Truck-Lite sales manager for Navistar. “This award reflects our company’s obligation to innovative product support and responsiveness to customer needs.”
