Phillips Industries announced today, May 20, that its Commercial Vehicle Products Division has been registered to ISO/TS 16949:2002. The registration covers the Quality Management System for the design and manufacture of electrical and air brake interface equipment for the heavy-duty trucking industry.
Bob Phillips, president and chief executive officer of Santa Fe Springs, Calif.-based Phillips Industries, expressed the company’s pride in achieving the quality certification. “Everyone at Phillips knows how important detailed quality systems are to our success, and we work hard every day to continue improving,” Phillips says. “The ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification communicates this commitment of quality to our customers.”
