Stevens Transport announced that it has extended its agreement with Pegasus TransTech to use Transflo Express truckstop scanning for an additional three years. The refrigerated carrier first implemented the trip-document delivery solution six years ago to provide same-day access to delivery documents.
Stevens Transport, headquartered in Dallas, operates 2,000 power units and employs more than 3,000 people. According to Kathy Whitaker, Stevens Transport’s accounting manager, Transflo Express has allowed the company to pay drivers faster, bill shippers quickly and efficiently, and cut more than two days off the company’s DSO; in addition, Stevens Transport has been using Pegasus TransTech’s Transflo in-house imaging and workflow solutions for almost 10 years to streamline back-office processes, eliminate paperwork, accelerate cash flow and facilitate growth without adding employees.
