Medallion Transport & Logistics announced today, May 28, that it has implemented the Transflo Express truckstop scanning solution from Pegasus TransTech. The Mooresville, N.C.-based nonasset-based agent/owner-operator motor carrier offers truckload and brokerage services throughout North America.

According to President Gary Weilheimer, Medallion Transport & Logistics implemented Transflo Express scanning services to take advantage of expedited document delivery. “At Medallion, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality to our customers, agents and owner-operators — therefore, aligning Medallion with Transflo is a natural fit,” Weilheimer says. “Transflo Express allows drivers to get paid quicker and for Medallion to bill our customers more efficiently.”

Transflo Express says it provides same-day access to delivery documents — no capital investment in scanners for the truck is needed — and enables fleets and drivers to get paid faster. With Transflo Express, drivers hand their trip documents to a cashier for scanning at more than 500 truckstop locations nationwide, including all Pilot and Love’s travel centers; in seconds, these documents are delivered electronically to the fleet for immediate billing and payroll processing.

“Medallion Transport’s decision to offer Transflo Express illustrates the company’s commitment to improving driver satisfaction,” says Frank Adelman, senior vice president of Pegasus TransTech. “We’re excited to offer companies the speed and convenience of truckstop scanning to take the worries out of document delivery.”

Transflo Express says it has helped fleets of all sizes reduce operating costs, improve driver satisfaction, speed cash flow and grow without adding to payroll.
