Hino truck engines rank highest in customer satisfaction for a second consecutive year, according to J.D. Power and Associates’ 2009 Medium-Duty Truck Engine and Transmission Customer Satisfaction Study. Hino performed well in engine quality and engine warranty. Mercedes-Benz and Caterpillar ranked second and third, respectively.


Allison Transmission entered into a long-term business agreement with Delphi Automotive Systems, under which Delphi will supply Allison with key hybrid-drive system components and energy storage systems.


Thermo King announced discounts on preventive maintenance services for its TriPac Hybrid Auxiliary Idle Reduction and Temperature Management System. Customers can save up to $40 on PM and heater services and filter kits for the TriPac system through Jan. 29 at participating North American dealers.
