Accellos Inc. — a provider of logistics, warehouse, 3PL, transportation and mobile resource management solutions — announced the acquisition of vSync Inc., a Columbus, Ohio- based provider of EDI and shipping compliance solutions built specifically to enhance Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Dynamics AX. Terms were not disclosed.

Accellos says the acquisition further expands its reach into the Microsoft Dynamics channel with comprehensive and robust supply chain offerings. Accellos will continue to market and support the vSync product line, which will become a key component of Accellos One, a supply chain execution suite for small to mid-sized businesses built upon Microsoft .NET and Silverlight technologies.

“Accellos and vSync have long shared a passion for delivering quality products to the Microsoft channel,” says Michael Cornell, chief executive officer of Accellos, based in Colorado Springs, Colo. “Accellos has experienced a great deal of success in the channel with our warehouse management, transportation management and supply chain execution solutions, and we knew it was again time to broaden our solution set. The acquisition of vSync strengthens our commitment to Microsoft Dynamics users by adding integrated EDI fulfillment and shipping compliance.”

Both Accellos and vSync are Microsoft Gold certified partners offering solutions certified for Microsoft Dynamics. “By continuing to invest in vSync’s product lines as part of our current Accellos One suite, we believe we will strengthen our reputation for delivering more innovation to our customers for less cost,” Cornell says.

With the addition of vSync, Accellos now has 195 dedicated employees and nearly 4,000 loyal supply chain customers. “We see entire new areas of growth and capability with vSync,” says Joel Kremke, Accellos chief operating officer. “As a channel leader, vSync EDI and shipping solutions add more than just transaction processing. Their long-term commitment to Microsoft Dynamics customers complements our own. Their solutions extend our supply chain functionality by enabling suppliers to track, manage and process customer-specific data requirements and processes. This is truly a win for our combined customer base as well as our shared reseller channel.”
