PeopleNet, a provider of Internet-based and integrated onboard computing and mobile communications systems, announced that Day & Ross Inc. has installed PeopleNet in its 200-truck Fastrax Division fleet.

One of the largest national less-than-truckload and truckload transportation companies in Canada, the Hartland, New Brunswick-headquartered company is one of only a few national carriers serving all 10 provinces with LTL and TL service anywhere in Canada, and to and from the United States through a strategic alliance with an exclusive U.S. marketing partner. The company also offers scheduled TL operations to and from Mexico.

“This expansion of our relationship with Day & Ross as well as the renewal of our previous 800-truck contract with the company, which has been in place for eight years, add up to strong affirmation of PeopleNet’s ability to make fleet operations more efficient,” says PeopleNet Canada President Jamie Williams.
