Freight transportation provider Estes has launched its redesigned website, www.estes-express.com. The Richmond, Va.-based company says the website highlights its five core services and allows customers to easily and quickly choose the shipping solution that best meets their needs. Estes’ range of shipping options includes LTL, Time Critical, Volume & Truckload, Global and Custom Solutions.

Estes says the redesign was approached from the customer perspective by first analyzing how customers use the website and then making enhancements based on the data; as a result, the website streamlines the site architecture to provide easy access to relevant customer-focused information about their shipping options. The content is updated and the navigation has been revamped to provide key information quickly.

The company says the site’s search feature also has been enhanced to deliver more accurate results based off of keywords and page content. An updated Tools menu provides customers with one place to access all of the robust applications that Estes offers, such as Rates, Pickups, Tracking, Points Inquiry and Invoicing. In addition, both a new Resources section and the FAQ section are part of the top navigation to help customers easily find all of the information they need to get their shipments moving. Quick links are located throughout the site to give customers access to the top five most-used applications with a single click.

“Estes’ redesigned website is another way we are utilizing technology to continually deliver excellent customer service and improve the customer experience,” says Billy Hupp, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “From getting it there overnight to getting it around the world, Estes offers a complete range of shipping options.”
