Asset Intelligence, a provider of trailer and container tracking solutions and a subsidiary of I.D. Systems, announced that Royal Freight, a truckload carrier with customers throughout North America, has signed a five-year agreement to purchase its VeriWise trailer management solution. Royal Freight initially will equip 750 dry van trailers with VeriWise technology.
“After testing several trailer management systems, we found the VeriWise solution to have the greatest reliability and provide the most significant return on investment for our operation,” says Bill Head, president of Royal Freight. “With VeriWise, which incorporates cargo and door sensors as well as location tracking, we can better secure and protect our customers’ cargo, in addition to proactively tracking and managing our trailers for more effective fleet utilization.”
