Rochert appointed to lead Daimler Truck Financial

Daimler Financial Services Americas announced the appointment of Juergen Rochert to vice president, Daimler Truck Financial USA, reporting to Franz Reiner, president and chief executive officer of Daimler Financial Services with responsibility for the Americas Region.

Rochert, now a member of the company’s executive leadership team, succeeds Richard Howard, who was appointed a Board of Management member, responsible for the Africa, Asia/Pacific (AAP) Region. Rochert is a veteran and versatile finance executive who previously led Daimler Financial Services in Mexico, Mercedes-Benz Financial in the United States and Daimler Financial Services in Canada as recent assignments over a 28-year career with Daimler.

Additionally, the company announced that Christopher Kaefer becomes the top credit officer for Daimler Truck Financial, with the position of vice president of Credit and National Accounts, taking over for Steven Goodale, who was appointed director of Global Credit in Berlin. Kaefer, who joined the company in 1993, oversees Credit and Internal Operations for the Truck Financial organization in Fort Worth, Texas. He also has responsibility for the Credit Operations of Mercedes-Benz Financial. In this position, he reports to Goodale and is a member of the company’s executive leadership team.
