Haldex plant in Monterrey, Mexico, to move to larger facility

The Haldex plant in Monterrey, Mexico, which manufactures spring brakes and service chambers, will be moving to a larger facility near the international airport during the beginning of the third quarter of this year, the company announced. Haldex says that as its business continues to grow in North America, the current facility does not have space to expand for new business, planned new product offerings or product improvements.
Located only seven miles from the current site, the new location is in a modern industrial park just outside Monterrey near the international airport and will provide more space for the plant to expand its in-house manufacturing capabilities, update the Quality Assurance testing laboratory, streamline production lines and optimize the flow of material within the plant, Haldex says.
