Mack taps experienced professionals for key sales positions

Mack Trucks, Inc. tapped experienced managers to lead the company’s sales efforts in three key regions. Patrick Meehan was named vice president of Mack’s Northeast Region, John Thomas was named vice president of the Western Region, and David Barletta was named vice president of the Central Region.

“These appointments underscore Mack’s commitment to strong customer relationships at the regional level,” says Kevin Flaherty, Mack senior vice president, sales and marketing. “All three have deep experience with Mack, our customers and their businesses.” Meehan, Thomas and Barletta report to Flaherty.

Meehan has been with Mack for 23 years, most recently as vice president of the Western Region. Thomas has been with Mack for 34 years; prior his new position, he was senior vice president of distribution development, with responsibility for Mack’s North American dealer network. Barletta has been with the company for 25 years and served most recently as district sales manager in the Central Region. He has held a number of positions in service, sales and marketing in his career. Barletta was also president and CEO of the former Mack subsidiary, Mack Trucks of Utah Inc.
