Quality Distribution Inc. announced that it has named Randall T. Strutz as senior vice president of sales. Strutz has more than 20 years of experience in transportation and logistics. Most recently, Strutz was chief executive officer of Morgan Systems Inc. Prior to that, he was at Pacer International for six years, where he held various responsibilities, such as chief commercial officer as well as president of rail brokerage and chief operating officer. Strutz also has held key management positions in operations and logistics at Thomson S.A., a multinational consumer products manufacturer.
“Randy brings to us a wealth of sales, operations and leadership experience, and I’m extremely pleased that he has agreed to join us,” says Gary Enzor, president and CEO of Tampa, Fla.-based Quality. “He will lead our sales organization with passion and accountability that will enable us to further extend our industry leadership position.”
