Par Logistics Management Systems Corp. (Par LMS) has entered into an agreement with Target Corp. for Par’s LMS RT-200 monitoring system.

The Par LMS RT-200 system generates information for monitoring and controlling reefer temperatures, responding to temperature alarms, and optimizing logistics and management of cold chain assets and resources, the company says. Par’s customizable reporting provides users with alerts and alarms of reefer temperatures, low fuel, abnormal or excessive fuel use and excessive reefer dwell time.

“Par is pleased to announce this significant selection of our RT-200 technology system,” says Par LMS President John W. Sammon III. “This is an important development for our business and is a welcome addition to our cold chain asset management operations portfolio. We are very pleased to have Target Corporation as a new customer.”
