Chris Davis and Brian O’Connell both have been promoted to region general manager posts for GE Capital’s Trailer Fleet Services business. O’Connell will lead the leasing company’s sales and operations efforts for its branches in the Northeast, and Davis will do the same in the West. The two new roles are additions to the company’s field-deployed management.

Davis, of Stockton, Calif., is a nine-year GE veteran and has served in a series of sales and operations management roles based in California; before joining GE, he was with Federal Express. O’Connell, of West Bridgewater, Mass., joined GE in 2003, serving in various leadership roles with the former GE Supply (now Gexpro) and then Trailer Fleet Services; before GE, he served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Safety Officer and Government Flight Rep.

Trailer Fleet Services, also known as TIP, leases, rents and remarkets semi-trailers for over-the-road, cartage and storage applications. The business includes a fleet of 90,000 trailers and operates in the United States and Mexico from 70 locations.
