First Advantage Corp. and Information Solutions Co. of First American Corp. on June 1 will launch as a new publicly traded entity named CoreLogic. CoreLogic is the new corporate name for First Advantage’s Information Solutions Group.

The change follows First American’s decision to split its Information Solutions Group (CoreLogic) and Financial Services Group into two separate publicly traded companies. CoreLogic will include CompuNet Credit Services, a 26-year provider of transportation-specific credit information for the trucking industry.

“CoreLogic will have a greater ability to serve our customers through additional products and services,” says Greg Conklin, executive director of CompuNet Credit Services. The new synergy will mean better alignment of data and services, integrated analytics and enhanced solutions, a concentrated focus on value proposition, and increased resources to grow the enterprise, Conklin says.

“We selected the CoreLogic name from our current portfolio of brands as a unifying description of the broad data, analytics and business information services we provide to support the core processes of our customers,” says Anand Nallathambi, president and chief executive officer of CoreLogic.

The new CoreLogic will encompass more than 20 different business lines in the areas of data, analytics and outsourcing services, as well as the consumer credit and information companies that were acquired with First Advantage. CoreLogic will have more than 10,000 employees worldwide.
