Regional less-than-truckload provider Southeastern Freight Lines now is offering next-day service between its Oklahoma City Service Center (OKC) and its Odessa, Texas Service Center (ODS). Southeastern says this new capability will allow it to provide overnight service for customers who ship or receive in this lane.

“The majority of our customers in this area are in the oil industry,” says Dean Baker, regional vice president of sales for Columbia, S.C.-based Southeastern. “Our customers, especially those in the oil field market, have requested next-day service, and now that the economic state of the oil business is improving, we’re positioned to fulfill their needs.”
