Cummins Filtration announced that it will supply the next generation of Crankcase Ventilation solutions for Navistar Inc. to support its 2010 MaxxForce 7 V-8 engine platform. Cummins Filtration and Navistar have collaborated jointly to package the next generation of CV technology into the engine envelope for easier integration into their broad range of vehicle applications.

Cummins Filtration says it offers such custom integrated crankcase ventilation designs along with a more standard range of CV management solutions. “With jet pump technology, design teams can locate a CV system anywhere on an engine, which greatly reduces overall manufacturing cost and complexity,” says Cary Chenanda, executive director and general manager of global OEM sales.
