PeopleNet, a provider of Internet-based and integrated onboard computing and mobile communications systems, announced that the company has enhanced its website at www.peoplenetonline.com with new educational resources designed to help trucking firms manage their operations more efficiently.

The additions include case studies about how specific companies use different technologies to automate processes and minimize cost drivers, white papers about current topics impacting the industry (safety, dashboards and reporting, technology integration and more), archives of the company’s online educational events, and information about new Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010 and electronic onboard recorder regulations.

PeopleNet says it is extending its focus on education with its 2010 user conference –“Fleet Performance All the Way” – set for Aug. 9-11 in Boca Raton, Fla. Bill Graves, president and chief executive officer of the American Trucking Associations, will be the keynote speaker for the event, which is open to current PeopleNet customers. The event agenda features sessions on compliance with safety, hours-of-service reporting, EOBR and CSA 2010 regulatory changes, automated workflow, driver management, ROI, MPG improvement, and more.
