LeanLogistics, a Holland, Mich.-based provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) transportation technology and supply chain services, has been recognized as a top preferred service provider with the ‘Procurement Excellence Award’ in a customer survey conducted by the producers of the strategic procurement conference, ProcureCon.

ProcureCon conducted an objective 10-week phone survey covering nearly 2,000 procurement executives regarding their preference for service providers in their respective industry. LeanLogistics offers a range of procurement services, including LeanSource, a do-it-yourself transportation application designed to help shippers achieve better rates and performance by aligning demand with optimum carrier capacity.

“LeanLogistics is honored to be recognized as an innovative solution provider for our clients,” says Chris Timmer, senior vice president of business development and marketing. “Acknowledgement from such a widely recognized event, such as ProcureCon, validates our commitment to helping clients achieve best-in-class status with the lowest operational costs while providing the best customer service.”

“A key reason for ProcureCon attendees to return to the annual procurement event besides the educational sessions and peer-to-peer networking is to scout for innovative solution providers who can help them advance their procurement,” says Carina Kuhl, conference director of ProcureCon 2010. “As a result, we’ve created this program as a benefit to our attendees. After all, there is nothing stronger than a customer recommendation.”
