Joe Gallick, Penske Logistics’ senior vice president of sales, is the 2010 recipient of The Pennsylvania State University Robert D. Pashek Award for his contributions to the logistics and transportation fields. The award is named for the late Pashek, associate dean emeritus of The Smeal College of Business at Penn State and a pioneer of the school’s logistics studies program, recognized as one of the premier programs in the country. Gallick has been a member of the Penn State Center for Supply Chain Research since 2000.
“Joe truly embodies the professionalism, knowledge and compassion of Dr. Pashek,” says Robert Novack, associate professor of business logistics at the Penn State Smeal College of Business and associate director of the school’s Center for Supply Chain Research. “His contributions to the industry go beyond what he has accomplished for Penske.”
Gallick has served as the senior vice president of sales at Penske Logistics since 1999. He leads strategic business development in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Gallick joined Penske Truck Leasing, the parent company of Penske Logistics, in 1988.
