Allied Oil & Supply Inc., a Midwest distributor of lubricants, tires, retreads and service, has launched a new look and navigation format on its corporate website, www.allied-oil.com. The company says the revised site has taken on a new and fresh look, but also is easier to navigate and contains updated information on products and services.

Information on the Home Page is divided into five main sections: Lubricants, Industrial Service, Tires, Truck Service and Equipment Sales & Service. There also is secondary navigation that consists of three pages: Allied Advantage, Going Green and Connect Online.

“In an effort to enhance communication with existing customers, as well as engage and build relationships with prospects, we have established a social media platform including LinkedIn, Photobucket and Twitter,” says Marketing Specialist Katrina Olsen. Another new feature is an eNewsletter signup form that, along with links to the social media accounts, can be accessed from the home page by clicking on the Connect Online logo.

Also located along the top navigation on the home page are four subsections: About, with history, news events and employment; Industry Links, a way to find industry-related associations and news sources; Credit Application, a download for anyone interested in establishing credit with Allied Oil & Supply; and Contact, a direct link to the contact information for each branch location. To facilitate navigation ease, a site map with quick links was placed in the footer.

“The revised site is more than a marketing piece,” Olsen says. “Our goal was to develop a customer-focused site that would enhance the user experience while providing relevant industry-related content and up-to-date information on our products and services. I feel we accomplished just that.”
