Northwood University recently announced the appointment of Larry Silvey as chair of its Aftermarket Management Program at the school’s campus in Midland, Mich., replacing James John who retired in June.

“It was a difficult process as we had many qualified applicants in which Larry was chosen from a pool of three strong finalists,” says Dr. Keith A. Pretty, president and chief executive officer of Northwood University.

“We are excited to have Larry on board,” says Dr. Timothy G. Nash, vice president for strategic and corporate alliances. “I have known him for years and feel that he will be a valuable asset to the university and the industry as a whole.”
