Schneider Truck

Schneider National driver Harvey Robbins of San Bernardino, Calif., was one of 10 Schneider drivers recently selected to sit at the helm of the company’s new 75th anniversary edition Freightliner tractors. These 10 trucks will crisscross the country, celebrating Schneider’s founding in 1935 while hauling freight for today’s customers. The front of each specially decorated truck is emblazoned with Schneider’s large 75-year anniversary logo, while the side decal depicts a vintage Schneider truck.

According to Robbins, his new truck is getting a reaction out on the road. “I get a lot of pointing and waving from people in cars driving next to me, and when I’m at truckstops or checkpoints, I get quite a few inquiries and comments about it,” he says. “I love hearing people say, ‘Beautiful truck’ and ‘Nice truck, Schneider!’ ”
