LeanLogistics, a global provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) transportation technology and supply chain services, announced the opening of a principal sales and service office in Mississauga, Ontario, operating as LeanLogistics of Canada.

The new office, the first for LeanLogistics of Canada, will provide sales and support for the full suite of LeanLogistics On-Demand TMS technologies and supply chain services. In addition, On-Demand TMS offers both French and English interfaces specific to Canadian regulations and processes.

“Our transportation network, one of the largest in North America, continues to attract shippers and carriers from geographies that benefit from regional support,” says Chris Timmer, senior vice president of business development and marketing. “While many Canadian supply chain issues mirror those of the USA, they also require domain-specific expertise. We intend to strengthen our presence in this important market with world-class service.”

Among the many support activities it provides, the LeanLogistics of Canada team will also:
• Operate as a regional liaison for LeanLogistics shipper and carrier support;
• Engage in thought leadership among Canadian supply chain organizations and events;
• Facilitate sales processes for LeanLogistics On Demand TMS, managed transportation services, procurement and Transportation Management Rate Index; and
• Assist in implementation, training and day-to-day support for Canadian clients.
