Murphy-Hoffman Co. recently purchased certain assets of Kenworth of Savannah, which will be operated as two new MHC locations in Savannah and Baxley, Ga. The new additions will increase the number of MHC locations in Georgia to five – with existing locations in Gainesville, Mableton and McDonough – and the number of MHC dealership locations to 42.
“Georgia is a strong customer base for MHC,” says Todd Rice, vice president. “By increasing our service points throughout the state, we are better able to provide quality services to our customers across a larger footprint. Savannah and Baxley are excellent locations, and we look forward to continuing to provide superior customer service at our locations throughout Georgia.”
Located across 10 states, MHC is a network of more 60 locations, including 42 heavy-duty and medium-duty truck dealers, 23 MHC Truck Leasing locations, four Carrier Transicold Locations and a wholly owned finance company, MHC Financial Services. MHC features Kenworth, Hino, Ford Volvo and Isuzu trucks.
