Hockey legend Lou Nanne is teaming up with K2 Logistics in a collaboration both say feeds the passions of both business partners. Nanne is releasing his autobiography, “A Passion to Win,” this week, and Eagan, Minn.-based K2 Logistics has a role in marketing the book.

“We are thrilled to help bring Lou’s story to readers throughout Minnesota and beyond,” says K2 Chief Strategy Officer Tom Lehmann. “Not only will people learn about Lou the athlete and coach from behind the scenes, but his recollections will reveal to readers someone who was just as dedicated as a businessman and as a family man.”

“A Passion to Win” retraces through a host of anecdotes his years growing up on the rinks and ponds of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, followed by his years with the Minnesota Gophers, Team USA and then with the Minnesota North Stars as a player, coach and team executive.

“I hope people not only enjoy reading about where I came from and the exciting things that I was so fortunate to experience, but I want them to take away something they can apply in their lives in order to realize their hopes and dreams,” Nanne says.

The book is coauthored by Jim Bruton, a former prison warden, who is the author of “The Big House,” “A Tradition of Purple,” “Every Day is Game Day” and “Gopher Glory.”
